Disciplined start by opening bowlers from Sri Lanka, Anushka and Chandana kept ICCS' scoring in check and both the openers Avik Chatterjeeand Adil Bazaz got out after scoring in single digits. At the halfway mark, ICCS were comfortable placed at 75 for 2, though the fall of Tanveer Gill (44 runs off 26 balls) in the 12th over changed the momentum of the game. Loss of another couple of quick wickets during the middle overs meant ICCS were in danger of posting a score below 150. MD Sarfaraz (23* runs off 16 balls) though had other plans as usual, who scored 2 clean sixes in the last over to help ICCS post a respectable 167 for 6, as Jay Kariascored another stroke-filled 49 runs off 46 balls.
